Learn through building

Ever thought about learning to code but not sure how to do so? Maybe you like design more, but cant find friends who you can build something together? Maybe you looked up bootcamps but got disappointed when saw the hefty price tag?

💡

The best way of learning is building - this is why we are introducing a new concept of bootcamp that is designed to make our people the best they can be, together.

TJoin us for a 12-week programme where we train you on coding, design, or product management, and set you with a cross-functional team so you can build great software, and all of that for a 1/10th of the cost of conventional bootcamps.

How does it work?

Stage 1 - SILOS

You will spend the first 6 weeks learning your Silo (Back-end, Front-end, UX/UI, Product Management) with the support of industry mentors. As opposed to conventional bootcamps where coaches do expensive tutorials, our mentors instead will be there to guide you, provide learning materials, and offer support during office hours.

Stage 2 - PODS

Building great products requires a team with unique skills. Thats why after the initial 6 weeks, you will spend the reminder of your time working with a team (pod), in which each bring a unique skill. Each pod can choose their own idea, and gain assistance by mentors throughout the process. By the end of the 6 weeks, you will have developed a really cool web-app, while learning a ton.

Stage 3 - REVIEW

At the end of the 12-weeks, you will be reviewed by the mentors on your work and skills. Should you get great feedback, you will be rewarded with a qualification. We will provide career advice and actionable steps on what you could do next. You will be forever an Alumni of ours and are always welcome to our events and group pages.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Silo should I go for?
The table below provides more insight into what each silo represents:
Back End You will be working with Python and AWS to create the logic on how the website should work and how to store the data.
Front end You will work with Javascript on creating features that are directly viewable and accessible by the end-user or client.
UX/UI You will create the design, user experience, and user interface of the product.
Product Manager You will be the voice of the end user and work with developers and designers to guide direction.
Cool - but it sounds expensive?

We only charge £100 per month. If you don't like it at any given time, you can drop off with no questions asked.

We are able to do this by removing all the unnecessary fluff that comes with bootcamps and focusing on what truly matters. This means no fancy looking office space (it will be mostly virtual with weekly social meet ups), no expensive executives in suits, and founders who genuinely care for the cause - we have all been there.

I am a complete beginner / advanced - is this for me?

Regardless of your level, this is for you. If you are a complete beginner, we will set you up with pre-reading before the session starts, which includes the very fundamental of your area (only applicable to coding). We will briefly cover these sections during the programme but we will expect you to be able to know some of the syntax (writing for loops for an example).

For UX/UI and Product Management, no knowledge or experience is required before you join!

If you are intermediate/advanced, we will fast track your progress and set you up with a team as soon as possible.

What are the dates? How much time will this require?
The programme will run for 12 weeks, July 10th - Sep 18th, and require at minimum 30 hours per week.
